The Energy Efficiency Design Awards are a £1 million Scottish Government initiative to improve to the energy performance of Scotland's existing homes.
The awards are aimed at communities and housing providers and focus primarily on the large proportion of Scotland's existing housing which is considered hard to treat, although other build types can also apply.
The maximum award for a single project is £250,000 and the awards are judged by an expert panel.
The call for the 2010-11 awards has now closed and the judging process is underway.
