Organisations we work with

Groundwork

Energy Saving Trust and Groundwork have developed a partnership to support communities in taking effective action on climate change. The aim of this partnership is to help both organisations deliver more effectively to communities by combining Energy Saving Trust’s expertise on carbon emissions reduction with Groundwork’s expertise on community development, regeneration and employability.

This partnership will operate at national level but will provide good opportunities for Groundwork locally and regionally to work in partnership with Energy Saving Trust advice centres with the ultimate aim to help communities to act effectively together to achieve carbon emissions reductions.

East of England Development Agency

The Energy Saving Trust has been working with the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) since 2008 to develop the Green Communities ' Community Carbon Footprint Tool'. Originally developed by EEDA as partof the 'Cut your Carbon' campaign, the community carbon footprint tool was designed to support community groups in the East of England to measure their carbon emissions at a community and household level, and identify suitable ways to reduce their impact on the
environment. Following the success of the Cut your Carbon programme EEDA and the Energy Saving Trust are now working collaboratively to support sustainable energy projects and ensure that communities throughout the UK can access this tool.
