The Energy Saving Trust can assist local authorities in developing and delivering energy service schemes. The energy services website contains a wealth of information on different types of energy service schemes as well as guidance on how to identify those most appropriate for your authority. This is followed by detailed information on how to develop and deliver a scheme.
Further advice is also available from Practical help. Our trained advisors can help you explore which energy services solution may best suit a particular situation and offer guidance on project formulation and execution.
The Energy Saving Trust also provides up to three days of specialist consultancy services for projects which need more advanced guidance. The energy consultants will help you to identify the next steps required to progress the project further, including an assessment of potential gaps in studies that have been carried out so far. They will work with you to identify key obstacles to delivery and formulate a strategy to move the scheme forward. This service is tailored to your specific needs. The three days may be provided in three consecutive days or spread out over a period of up to several months. The service is aimed at providing guidance and advice rather than directly contributing to the scheme.
