Building Regulations 2010 – a comprehensive guide to Part L125 May - 8 July 2010This year, we expect to see revisions to Part L of the Building Regulations which will require the toughest energy performance ever from new and refurbished buildings. To help you prepare, Rickaby Thompson Associates and se2 are offering a series of training courses exploring the implications of the proposed changes to Regulations. These courses will focus on Part L1 (Housing) and Part L2 (Non-Domestic Buildings). Each course will look across the range of new build and refurbishment issues covered in the Regulations.

Part L and Part F 2010, and SAP2009: Revision to Building Regulations for new low carbon housing15 July - 10 August 2010
The Energy Saving Trust in partnership with BRE, present a series of half-day events which will provide an overview of the revised approved documents reflecting the recent legislative changes to Part L and Part F, which will come into force on 1 October 2010.
By attending one of these events you will:
- Discover how amendments to Part L and the approved document Part L1A will affect design, construction and compliance of new housing.
- Review how the revisions to Part F will affect ventilation strategies and the impact on air quality and occupant comfort.
- Learn about the proposed amendments to the Code for Sustainable Homes due later this year.
- Receive free SAP2009 design feasibility assessment software and get practical experience in using SAP2009.
